I don't really trust the site linked in the readme so I tried downloading the C++ rtp things from Microsoft, didn't work. It's over for me. I can't play the game but the art looks really nice.
hey man, great game, but coming from a german, thats not how ü works, in german, the ü is a completely different vowel, rather being spoken as a ''ue'' or ''y''. the way ü is used in the name would make it not really pronouncable.

Currently, me and my team are busy producing our next project, 東方光像儀 ～ Flickerframe Shutter Festival, but once we're done with it, we plan to do an engine update to this game that should hopefully fix the black screen problem for good, alongside performance improvements. There's no ETA for that yet, but hopefully still this year 🙏
I've tried everything listed in the readme and the devlog, I even installed every VisualC package by hand and changed the performance, nothing works :c
Very nice, not too difficult game. Being on linux, I had to run it through wine due to it "missing" GLibC, which I already had install. Great music btw :)
I can't run the game at all. When I first tried to open it all it did was create a notepad/text document named engine with nothing in it. After that nothing would happen when I attempted to run it.
I can confirm I'm having the same game-closing error when I attempt to run it. All I get is a black "Window" window for a moment, then it expands in size and displays the game name, and then vanishes.
Hi! What platform are you running? Is there any "engine.log" file in the game's folder? If there is, could you please send it? (A pastebin link would be fine)

Hello from Japan. I was looking for Touhouproject fan works and found this one, but I am also unable to play it due to the black screen issue.
I have tried everything listed in the Readme and development log. Is it normal that the data retention file mentioned in the log is missing?
I hope the issue will be resolved, as it features fan characters I know and is of high quality.
